Carl Jung - Learning Biography

Carl Jung is a renowned Swiss psychiatrist and psychotherapist who founded the field of analytical psychology

He did most of his writing, painting and sculpture at a structure he built in Bollingen on the shores of Lake Zurich he called the ‘Bollingen Tower’. This environment was relatively isloted and allowed him to concentrate for long periods. 

Conversation with Freud

He also had an important meeting with Sigmund Freud in 1906 and Carl Jung described how they spoke that day for over 13 hours. They continued this professional relationship for the next six years.

Study of Mythic Structures

He also studied legends, faiths and myths in many cultures to see what they had and what European Culture was missing.
